Community Health Center of Central Missouri is seeking a Director of Quality to join our progressive organization. The Director of Quality, in collaboration with the management team, is responsible for implementing, monitoring and refining the quality improvement processes, policies and procedures of CHCCMO. In addition, The Director of Quality will play an integral role in managing and monitoring the health care quality measures and data metrics of CHCCMO. The Director of Quality participates in the continuous systematic monitoring of all CHCCMO participating provider processes and outcomes; directs problem focused studies; implements and maintains department objectives to ensure compliance of NCQA accrediting, Federal/State regulations, licensing or reviewing agency requirements and acts as a liaison for Quality Improvement Committees. The Director of Quality will Identify and build opportunities for quality improvement efforts and assure the organization meets or exceeds stated objectives and complies with relevant standards. This position is responsible for the coordination of health center risk management activities. The Director of Quality will assure and oversee the organization is maximizing performance in value based contracts. The Director of Quality will also assist in training nursing staff and be responsible for Employee Health component of CHCCMO staff. The Director of Quality is responsible for the supervision of the Nurse Care Managers, Community Health Workers, Ultrasongrapher and Dietitian.
Ideal candidate would be a Registered Nurse with a current BLS certification, minimum of two years’ experience in a health care setting, working with program evaluation, planning, quality improvement activities and risk management activities. Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of Healthcare Home activities preferred for this position.
