Community Health Center of Central Missouri is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to join our Senior Management team. CHCCMO is a fast-growing, progressive Federally Qualified Health Center with locations throughout Central Missouri.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of CHCCMO.
  • Collaborates with the Chief Executive Officer in identifying and implementing short and long term organizational strategic goals.

Job Requirements

Community Health Center of Central Missouri, a FQHC, has an opportunity available for a Dental Director. Seeking an individual with strong leadership skills to be responsible for the overall operations of our progressive Dental Clinics. Duties will include but not limited to, delivering quality comprehensive care in dentistry to children and adults, outstanding customer service skills, development of policies and procedures, planning and continuing the growth in our dental area, financial responsibilities, budget preparation and hiring responsibilities are a few of the duties for this progressive position. Will be responsible for direct supervision of dental providers. This position represents the Dental Department on the Senior Leadership Team.

Ideal candidate would have a current license to practice dentistry in the State of Missouri, 2-3 years’ experience in a leadership/ supervisory position, 2-3 years’ experience working in a progressive dental clinic, FQHC knowledge helpful.

The Dental Clinic Manager is responsible for the day to day supervision of a busy dental clinic. Duties include the supervision of dental assistants and hygienists, staff training, and effective management of patient and staff concerns. This employee will be responsible for the efficient, fiscally responsible operation of a fast-paced dental clinic. The position is responsible for ensuring adequate dental staffing levels, maximizing dental clinic production and fostering a team atmosphere. This employee will assist and work closely with the Dental Director in establishing specific goals; determining work procedures; expediting work flow; ensuring compliance with all operating policies and procedures; and assisting with standardization between our main clinic and satellite clinics. This employee will act as a leader by building constructive relationships and supporting leadership in developing, setting, and executing goals and the strategic plan. The Dental Clinic Manager will ensure the operational success and efficiency of the CHCCMO dental department. Ideal candidate would have a Minimum of 5 years in dental field with a minimum of 2 years in managerial or supervisory experience, excellent computer skills, and customer service skills required for this position.

Community Health Center of Central Missouri, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Missouri, seeks a Registered Dental Hygienist, full, part and PRN opportunities available. The successful candidate must be able to educate patients regarding home dental care and periodontal disease.

Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited School of Dental Hygiene. Valid license to practice dental hygiene in the State of Missouri.

Essential Function: Provides following clinical services: oral prophylaxis; instruction for proper home care techniques for oral hygiene including proper tooth brushing, flossing, nutrition, and need for professional care; topical fluorides; screen and evaluate patients regarding caries detection, periodontal pathology, medical history; exposing radiographs, supra and sub gingival scaling and curettage; root planning, application of sealants. Primarily responsible for outreach and the initiation and maintenance of the dental prevention and dental education program including health fairs, outreach, and PSP (preventative screening program). This position is located in the State Capital and is within 45 minutes of beautiful Lake of the Ozarks, 30 minutes from Columbia and within 2-2 ½ hours of St. Louis, Kansas City and Springfield, MO. Jefferson City is a family oriented environment. 1-3 years’ experience in a progressive OB/GYN practice or medical facility preferred for this position. Must be board certified or board eligible for this position. Excellent, competitive benefit package offered, along with loan repayment options.

Community Health Worker

Community Health Workers (CHW) will work closely with medical and dental providers, primary care teams, and other agencies to improve patient care and outcomes. CHWs help to identify barriers to care and work to address and remove these barriers, when possible. CHWs will be involved with all areas of clinic operations, including scheduling appointments, assisting with insurance applications, and helping to coordinate care between departments and clinic staff. CHWs will focus on utilizing face-to-face encounters with patients to determine how best to support patients in their healthcare efforts. For this position a strong knowledge and background working with OB/GYN patients. Bachelor’s Degree in a social-services field ideal for this position. Certification as a Community Health Worker preferred.

Full-time opportunity available, Monday – Friday for experienced LPN’s to answer patient calls and assess patient’s needs. Will work with patients and physicians.

This position will work 2 weeks from home and one week in the clinic at 1511 Christy Drive Jefferson City, MO.

Ideal candidate would have 2-3 years’ experience as a nurse, excellent customer service and communication skills, be a self-starter, with excellent computer skills.

Community Health Center of Central Missouri is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Team of Family Medicine Providers. Individual will work 4 days/32 hours per week of patient care, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Must be a licensed NP or PA, previous experience working a primary care setting helpful for this position.
